Program Notes: Bewusstloses Tal - classical guitar, electric bass guitar, musical saw This piece mixes traditional, folk and modern instrumentation. It also combines diatonic traditions with jazz chords and quartal/extended harmonies. Both string parts are notated while the saw part uses structured improvisation based on written cues and motive diagrams on the sheet music to be interpreted by the performer.  back
